Clearance and Ventilation: Maintain minimum clearances as per IEC 60076 or IEEE C57 standards—usually 1 meter on all sides—to ensure adequate airflow and cooling.
Electrical Connections: All wiring must be performed by licensed electricians using properly sized conductors and torque-rated lugs. Phase rotation and grounding must be verified before energizing.
Grounding: Bond the transformer frame to the facility’s grounding system using low-impedance cables to ensure personnel safety and surge protection.
